Set in Brooklyn, the series follows Dez — a young artist who has spent years avoiding responsibility — as he attempts to finally get serious about his life. What starts as a vow to improve himself quickly turns into a messy, unpredictable journey as adulthood, friendship, and creative ambition collide.
About the Series
Disillusioned with life but comfortable staying on the sidelines, Dez has always chosen art over obligation. When he moves to Brooklyn with his two closest friends — one of whom has just gotten married — Dez decides it’s time to change his ways.
That decision proves easier said than done.
As Dez’s eccentric habits clash with the realities of adult life — and with his friend’s newlywed wife — the group finds themselves navigating relationships, responsibility, and identity in ways they never anticipated.
This Is Dez offers a grounded, often comedic look at what happens when idealism meets reality — and when growing up refuses to follow a plan.
